Chakras are spinning vortexes of energy radiating from the central nerve ganglia of the spine. There are seven main chakras in the body that correspond to organs along with glands in the endocrine system, in various bodily processes, such as breathing, digesting and procreating.
The chakras in our body also correspond to the psychological aspects of our life. Think of the chakras as floppy disks that contain programming about how we handle various aspects of our life, the experiences, traumas or challenges we’ve had in our childhood and even events from past lives. Imagine that the floppy disks plug into the ‘hardware’ of our physical bodies and are interpreted by the ‘operating system’ of our consciousness.
The study of chakras originated within the ancient Sanskrit systems of India and have been widely used in the western world to help balance one’s energy psychologically, spiritually and emotionally. The seven chakras in our body are the: root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye and crown.
Imagine as a child you had some fear to express your feelings, because if you did, you’d be punished or reprimanded. Growing up and into adulthood you continued to have that fear to express your truth thus having your throat chakra energetically blocked and afraid to speak up authentically in your relationships.
Healing your chakras could assist you into shedding light on the intense emotions (such as fear) that have been lingering in the forefront of your mind along with clearing the energy in your throat chakra. The benefits of chakra healing is looking at what you’ve learned or perceived about yourself from your childhood or a past life to release the intense emotions and consciously make decisions on how you want to live in the here and now.
Chakra healing is a wonderful way to ‘follow the breadcrumbs’ of the unfolding of your soul journey. You then discover and release the old childhood stories to live with more conscious intention as an adult in your relationships.
